Well, we knew it was just a matter of time before Covid affected the 2020 reg. season.
The PIT@TEN, week 4 game has been moved to an undertermined date and will not be played in week 4.
This means that for fantasy purposes BOTH TEN and PIT are on BYE in week 4.
It is believed the NFL will eventually play this game in a later week.  If and when any official announcement is made regarding a make-up game or other changes to the NFL schedule we will adjust our competition as necessary.

We're all set for an 8-team League in 2017!!
Draft is set for 9/3/17 at noon ET.
Be sure to check out the new draft page and let me know if you would like a practice session before the real draft on Sept. 3. There will be multiple opportunities for practice on the previous Saturday and Sunday (8/26,8/27).  Anyone interested should contact me BEFORE the 26th. Please let me know if any difficulties are experienced using the new League pages.  Good luck to all!

We need to get these waiver and IR issues settled.

If you have any input regarding the information already
emailed, please get it to me soon.  Proposals will be
drafted and emailed in a few days.  There will be at least
two proposals. One for limiting waivers and one for forcing
IR removal.  All teams are expected to vote!

Draft order for 2008 is posted on the main page and an email has been sent to each team outlining the results of this years vote on proposals for change.
Changes have already been implemented and included in the latest update of the rules.

The OFFICIAL NFL scoring for week 10 has changed.
The NFL has changed the status of the touchdown scored by PHI in the second quarter of the WAS@PHI game. Originally scored as a fumble recovery for TD, it is now officially a reception for TD.
As this change was made official by the NFL within the challenge period provided by the Charter League rules, scoring for this league has been updated accordingly.

I feel your pain. I'm 3-6 and the have the 3rd highest scoring team in the

I like the idea of having special provisional waivers for position losses like
yours. Basically we should only have that problem with PK and TE. I also think
the waiver period should be extended until the playoffs begin. With the playoff
teams allowed 1 waiver through the playoffs for emergency reasons. SO basically
you would have your 12 normal transactions for weeks 1-14, 1 Provisional
Position Pick and if you should make the playoffs, you would be granted 1
emergency waiver for injuries.

Guys,
I ran into a problem that we never (at least that I know of) have had happened 
before.  Both my kickers were injured in the same week.  Since the waiver 
period has passed there was nothing I could do to fix it.  Can we consider a 
special waiver for losing a WHOLE position in one week?  Also, can we consider 
not ending the waivers at all during the season? Let Mike know your thoughts

Thanks to everyone.  I know the 2004 "hurricane" draft was tedious 
for all and difficult for some.  But your perseverence has paid off.  The draft 
is now Official!  The only additional compensation will be 4 extra waivers for 
THIS SEASON ONLY.  The extra waivers have been added to ALL accounts.  Please 
notify the Commissioner immediately if you have any problem with this attempt 
to compensate for the irregularity of our draft.

Now it's time to play some fantast football.  Don't forget Thursday night's 
game and good luck to all.

Hey guys.  I just heard from Mike Gawlik (remember the Eradicators)

If anyone is interested in chatting with him, he has joined the forums and 
should be posting in our Locker Room soon.  Obviously, there's no room for the 
Eradicators to return to the Charter League.  But I suggested he might want to 
join a Gold League at WANNABE Sports to compete with any of you who might want 
to join the same league.  Talk to him about it in the forum and let the 
Commissioner know if you are interested in a team.

When to have the draft?  

I recently suggested two traditional Sunday, noon dates to choose from.  But 
some suggested we might possibly switch to a weekday evening.  However, there 
were no specific suggestions and I no longer have any idea of which days/nights 
might or might not be available for most of you.  And we are dealing with 
multiple time zones.  

So, here is the perfect medium for everyone to express their opinion for all to 
see.  Once everyone has had time to add their two cents, a decision about the 
official date/time will be made.

If there is not enough input to make a change suitable to all, the draft will 
most likely be on Sunday, Sept. 5th at noon ET in the normal tradition.

Regardless, the draft will still take place online using the same interface as 
last year.  If anyone does not have access to a computer or just wants to 
attend live, let me know and you can attend the draft from here.

Now, who's first?
