- By participating in a WANNABE sponsored Public Fantasy League
or Contest (the "Games"), you agree to abide by all applicable
terms and conditions expressed herein and all rules applicable to the respective
Game. WANNABE Sports reserves the right to revise any terms or rules at any time to
improve WANNABE Sports' services.
- WANNABE Sports maintains this internet site (the "Site")
for your personal entertainment. You may only utilize material displayed
on the Site for non-commercial, personal use provided you also retain all
copyright, trademark and other proprietary notices contained in the material.
It is strictly prohibited to modify, transmit, distribute, reuse, re-post,
"frame" or use the content of the Site for public or commercial
purposes including the text, images, audio and/or video without written permission from WANNABE Sports.
- Rules applicable to the Games are contained within
the the Site (linked to from each Game's main page) and are applicable
as indicated to the respective Game. All rules will be followed where
pertinent and amended as necessary to conduct the Games in a fair manner.
In cases where Game rules (i.e. Private Leagues) conflict with the terms
and conditions stated herein, the Game-specific rule takes precedence.
Changes and alterations to Game rules will be made by WANNABE Sports, when
necessary, and WANNABE Sports will notify all participants by e-mail when
changes in their specific Game's rules occur.
- Scoring data for all Games will be obtained and/or computed
by WANNABE Sports. All data posted by WANNABE Sports on the Site will be
considered correct and accepted as so by all participants if not challenged
subject to the limitations within Game-specific rules.
- 'Weekly Results' section of Public Fantasy League rules.
- 'Contest Results' section of the applicable Contest rules.
- Reference to "owner" and "ownership"
within the Site or by the Commissioner are intended solely to indicate the person who
controls interactions with other participants and WANNABE Sports and/or pays the
administration fee to participate in a WANNABE Game (also referred to as
"member"). Each member will have on file with WANNABE Sports
a document of record stating responsible parties for said account along
with required information which must include a valid unique e-mail address. All
official e-mail communication from a team to WANNABE Sports should
come from the address on file as proof of it's authenticity. This e-mail address
is considered the owner's OFFICIAL WANNABE Sports' address. WANNABE Sports will
not be responsible for the consequences of any correspondence not received as a result
of failure to maintain a valid, working email address in your WANNABE Sports account.
- All rulings and decisions made by WANNABE Sports or the
WANNABE Sports Commissioner are FINAL. All efforts are made by WANNABE
Sports to correct any errors within the confines of the various Game's
rules. While WANNABE Sports uses reasonable efforts to include accurate
and up-to-date information on the Site, WANNABE Sports makes no warranties
or representations as to its accuracy nor does WANNABE Sports assume any
liability or responsibility for any errors in the content of the Site beyond
the effort to correct errors as stated above.
- WANNABE Sports and its sponsors do not assume any liability
for members participating in any WANNABE Game. WANNABE Sports and its sponsors
are not responsible for the use of data presented within these pages for
any purpose other than entertainment. WANNABE Sports and its sponsors are
not responsible for circumstances beyond the reasonable control of WANNABE
Sports including (but not limited to) telephone difficulties, e-mail difficulties,
internet server difficulties, typographical errors, equipment malfunctions,
etc. WANNABE Sports reserves the right to refuse and / or discontinue membership
to any owner at the sole discretion of WANNABE Sports. Any claims made by advertisements
or their advertisers on this site are the sole responsibility of that advertiser.
- WANNABE Sports may at any time revise the terms and conditions
herein by updating this Legal Page. You are bound by any such revisions
and should therefore periodically visit this page to review the then-current
terms and conditions.
- If a major league season does not start as planned or
is otherwise shortened for any reason, WANNABE Sports reserves the right to modify the
Games as it believes will best accommodate fair competition for all participants
(including cancellation of the related WANNABE Game when necessary).
- Each participant is responsible for the submission of
any Official requests (Line-up changes, Transaction requests, Contest entries, etc.) and
any necessary arrangements made to do so. WANNABE Sports is not responsible for lost or
unreceived requests. All online submissions are confirmed online as well as by e-mail.
Save your confirmation as proof of your submission until the data is verified on-line.
Requests should be submitted through one of the following
methods (applicable methods are described in each game's rules):
- online submission, linked from Game's main page as well as other game related pages
- e-mail to the Commissioner early enough to be RECEIVED
prior to any applicable deadline.
- Any questions relating to line-ups or transactions should be directed
to the Commissioner
- "Line-up" usually refers to the players chosen as starters
from a Fantasy League team roster. Details (number of players, positions, deadline, etc.) of
line-ups are found in each Game's rules.
- "Transactions" refers to waivers, trades and
Injured Reserve (IR) as allowed by respective Game rules.
- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To receive details for a no cost
entry in Public FEE-Based Games, void of any and all extra services, send your name, postal
address, social security number, e-mail address, date of birth and phone
number clearly outlines in an email to the COMMISSIONER
