Public Keeper League Fantasy Team Ownership

• You must be 18 years or older to participate.
• No one person shall be allowed to own an interest in more than one WANNABE team within a single League. Partnership control of a single team is permissible. However, each team with partners should elect one team spokesperson who will be responsible for interactions (i.e. weekly line-ups, roster changes, etc.) with the League and WANNABE Sports. Any team allowing more than one partner to interact with the league agrees to accept WANNABE Sports' best judgment in situations involving submission of conflicting information.
• Each team agrees to remit a seasonal franchise fee to WANNABE Sports in exchange for the package of services provided in that League. All fees must be rendered in US funds or WANNABE points. US funds may be transmitted through Postal mail or electronically through www.PayPal.com
  Returned checks are subject to a fee.

• Any Public League team whose owner becomes unavailable will be considered abandoned and reclaimed by WANNABE Sports. Abandonment is at the sole determination of WANNABE Sports. Reasons include, but are not limited to, failure to render franchise fee, failure to respond to official e-mail query, failure to compete in good faith or intentionally sabotage the competitiveness of the League, etc.
  • Any team abandoned during competition will continue to participate in the regular season using any line-up in effect at the time abandoned (subject to changes deemed necessary by WANNABE Sports to keep the team competitive) Abandoned teams will not participate in the play-offs/championship and will be considered ineligible when determining play-off/championship qualifiers unless logistics necessitate or the team is assigned to new independent ownership by WANNABE Sports.
  • Saved players and other rights by rule are transfered to new ownership.
• Should a Public League be faced with fewer than the specified number of teams, WANNABE-owned team(s) will be created and drafted by WANNABE Sports. These team(s) will be interspersed within the schedule at random just as any other team and will be treated as abandoned teams for play-off purposes.
• Each owner agrees to participate in the draft procedure as described for that League or accept WANNABE Sports best effort to draft a roster for that team using the best method available. Drafts are currently held online in the WANNABE Draft Interface. All Public League drafts are subject to the following:
  • Draft picks will be time limited to one(1) minute for each pick of each round. Any team failing to make their pick within the allotted time will have their pick made by WANNABE Sports. Extensions cannot be granted and all timing is a function of the WANNABE Draft Interface.
  • The reverse-order method will be used:
    • 1st round = 1st - last
    • 2nd round = last - 1st
    • 3rd round = 1st - last, etc.
• WANNABE Points and other Awards
  • WANNABE Points are applicable to FEE-BASED Public Leagues and Contests as described in each Game's rules.
  • Trophies, Plaques or alternate awards are presented to Winners (Champion), again as described in each Game's rules.
  • WANNABE Points may be redeemed only for WANNABE Sports franchise fees and/or any prizes that are advertised by WANNABE Sports as eligible for acquisition in exchange for WANNABE Points. WANNABE Points are non-transferable and are considered officially distributed only at the completion of the season in which they are won. WANNABE Points have no cash value. Account balances are maintained for a minimum of 1 year after last activity. Lack of activity for greater than 1 calendar year CAN result in termination of account with no other notice. Points in terminated accounts revert to WANNABE Sports.
